Great Video Freom Our Friend
RIVERSIDE RED

There is nothing funny about a heart attack, right? Ya think?

If not funny, how about 'warm and fuzzy'.

Click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDARfDJw80s to listen to the 911 call of a little girl, age five, calling the emergency line for her father who was having chest pains.

Ron Fraiser Is Well and Doing Brilliantly in Pensacola

Got a delightful post on my b’log from Ron Fraiser today, he late of WMAC morning talk radio, and currently tearing up the airwaves down in Pensacola, Florida.

Middle Georgians will remember Ron. After Kenny B. and Jami. G. departed from WMAC a year and a half ago, Cumulus hired Ron and a kid named Shane McBryde. The latter had an unfortunate incident with a certain controlled substance and Ron went solo.

Cumulus then hired Chris Krok who doesn’t like to share the studio microphone with anybody except Councilwoman Elaine Lucas. So Cumulus moved Ron to sister station WCOA, 1370 AM in Pensacola. That stations website can be viewed here: http://www.wcoapensacola.com/default.asp?pid=4444 You will notice Ron’s picture center, top.

We Ronfans can listen to the guy any morning we wish simply by clicking on the LISTEN NOW link on the upper left corner of the web page.

And yours truly will do exactly that on the morrow. There is one day a year I refuse to listen to Kenny B. and his sidekick Charles E (or R). On the Friday before the Superbowel, the entire show is devoted to taking calls from listeners who wish to predict the score. Last year they had, according to Mr. Richardson, almost a hundred of the damn things. Good ratings for them, but B O R I N G to this old man who has never watched a super-bowl (see, I can spell it) in his entire life. So I shall listen to Krok until the name ‘Lucas’ surfaces, then it’s over to Ron Fraiser in Pensacola. There is a time change, might have to endure WMAC for an hour, that or listen to my favorite opera singers on You Tube. Maybe read the paper online.

Might even call in to Ron’s station and say hello, not interrupting any important news, of course. I see fun ahead if the incoming bad weather doesn'’ knock my computer off the air, which it sometimes does.

This is THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO LUKE and I am Don Brunel.
