If you remember the so-called ‘enemies list’ compiled by Richard Nixon and his aides such as ‘German Shepherds’ Elichman and Haldeman. Anybody who disagrees with the chief exec. Is automatically deemed ‘an enemy’. So much for democracy or that which passes for American democracy in the twenty-first century.
With henchmen like Rahm Emanuel, trained in the street-brawling school of Chicago politics, an enemies list is a real possibility.
I would volunteer for that list, but since we have already seen that yours truly is most likely on both the government’s terrorist watch list as well as its catalogue of racists, I doubt if one simple old soul from Middle Georgia could attain standing on all three.
There you have it, or don’t. Depends on how well you catch.

As far as I know, I did not make the Nixon enemies list. Some of my friends and associates did, but they are all dead now. Maybe we need to resurrect such a list every few years just to keep the White House on its tootsies.
