I have received information from other law enforcement agencies that there are several black male burglary suspects traveling in a black Dodge Magnum with North Carolina plates. I am told that they have struck in several counties including Pike, Spaulding and Monroe. If you spot this vehicle in your area contact law enforcement immediately. Do not approach this vehicle or suspects. Obtain a tag number if safely possible. Be prepared to give the dispatcher an exact location and direction of travel.

ERICK ERICKSON HAS ARRIVED

Well, it’s about time, Erick, high time.

After all it has been more than a year since some Brit daily pronounced you America’s sixty-ninth most influential conservative. That’s a long, long time to wait for further validation of who you are and what you do.

But validation indeed came from the bowels of Washington, D.C. Mr. Erickson is now and forever enshrined with other prominent conservatives as a pre-eminent horsefly chomping on the rump of the Obama Administration.

Requiescat In Pace

Middle Georgia is in shock today. Mayor Donald Robins of near-by Warner Robins is dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Our policy here is summed up in the Latin phrase: ‘De mortuis nil nisi bonum’, or, “About the dead speak only good.”

I did not know the man in any sense of the word, although I was twice introduced to him. He seemed like one heck of a nice guy.

Within an hour or two of Mr. Walker’s demise comments began appearing following the online version of the story….dozens of comments, many, not most but many, were inane and mean spirited, or simply ignorant: the usual claptrap associated with the T’GRAPH’s red neck internet, which encourages many of the area’s intellectually challenged to sound off under the cloak of presumed anonymity.

One theme struck several times is that Chris Krok, l’enfant terrible’ of Maconga’s airways, in his concentrated campaign against Walker re-election is somehow to blame for the man's suicide. Nothing could be further from the truth. Chris is doing his job in his usual aggressive, sometimes over-the-top way. The decision to end his life belongs only to the Mayor. We most likely will never know why what he did. Quite frankly, it’s none of our business.

Talk radio is not the prettiest of all media. It is inclined to be argumentative, negative, and pointed, that being the nature of the beast. People get hurt from time to time; many of them deserve every sling and arrow aimed their way. Like any justice system, the innocent get hurt from time to time.

There have been calls (e.g Kenny Bergamy of radio fame) to shut down the red neck internet. Sometimes I find myself agreeing with that view because so many of the entries are so mean spirited and, frankly, just plain stupid. Yet the buffoons who make the most outrageous comments and seem to have nothing to do all day except expose their own neuroses and prejudices to public scrutiny really do us a favor.

They, you see, represent one very real side of the real Macon and Bibb County….the racist, under educated, sloppy thinking, loutish side that our city Fathers (and Muthahs) as well as the Chamber of Commerce would like to sweep under the rug lest its existence cast a negative pall over the reputation of our fair city.

If this burg astride the Ocmulgee is ever to live up to its touted potential, we need to be aware of what we are….the good, the bad, and the ugly. This is the only way we will ever make headway against the ugly and the bad.

The comments in the TELEGRAPH are simply a window that looks deep into the soul of whoever and whatever we are.

Truth can be painful.

So reasons Adams. Mike Adams, Professor Mike Adams who has written here a brutal Q & A style column on Obamabortion-care which would the Washington powers that be if anybody at the top ever reads it.

Frankly, it’s more of a Q. column, than a Q & A, but it’s damn good anyway. And, heck, I don’t go along with the good prof’s ultra Christian stand on taking the life of an unborn, but I appreciate the piece’s passion, logic, and in-thy-face style.

THE GODFATHER
On A Saturday Morning In Late September

I’m not much of a movie fan.

Now I did go through a phase as a kid of feigned interest in European ‘art films’, but if memory serves me a’right, it was more the adolescent’s passion for the likes of Sophia Loren and Briget Bardot, sex objects of the ‘50’s, who still look great now in their seventies. Sophia’s amazing pectorals testify to the truly astonishming results medicine can accomplish with modern silly putty.

In march 1972, while visiting my parents on Cape Cod, I saw two movies in Hyannis which caused me not to enter a movie theatre for almost a decade. They were Cabaret and Reason? I knew in my heart of hearts that I would never witness their equals. I was almost right.

Godfather 2 arrived, but I never saw it until cable television came along years later for me. When GF 1 and 2 were cobbled together to create a true cinema saga I re-entered the realm of higher celluloid consciousness and viewed the masterpiece perhaps twenty times.

Godfather 3 was a miserable, predictable, poorly directed, miserably acted, rip off of 1 & 2, excuse for a comeback in the history of Hollywood.

The Godfather, the original featuring Marlon Brando and his three kids is coming out in re-mastered form I learned this morning. I won’t traipse to a mega cinema-plex to see it, of course, but eventually it will be available in some format that can be viewed in the intimacy of the living room.

There was a great little article in this morning’s Lew Rockwell Dot Com that brought this all to mind. It had to do with the background behind a novel (Puzzo’s) that almost never got published and a film that almost never got made. Can you imagine Lancaster as The Don or Robert Redford as Michael Corleone? I can’t. Almost happened, though. The piece is titled: A Story of Fear and Dysfunction Not Just The Godfather, but the Making of The Godfather. Yes Happy Birthday to young Dexter Riggins who turned sixteen just today. Sweet sixteen. The time in a boy's life when he can look forward to a long decades filled with the joys and sorrows that mark our human passing so briefly on the earth.

Young Dexter, who most frequently is known as ‘D.J.’, might not be in too much of a mood to celebrate right now.

You see yesterday, on the very last day of his fifteenth year, young D.J. was sentenced to thirty years by Judge Martha Christian. That for armed robbery.

Oh, he might get out after serving twenty-five of those thirty years except……

Somebody else sentenced him to five more years for possession of a gun by a minor during the commission of a crime and…..

D.J. has not yet been sentenced after he pled ‘guilty’ to the charge of committing a robbery by force back in 2007. And……

Lest we forget this little detail: the boy is still awaiting trial on a murder charge also in 2007.

Maybe he won’t ever get out of the slammer. You know, crime….time equation. These young men know it pretty well.

But, hey, it’s his birthday and we should all be happy that Dexter Riggins has reached the ripe old age of sixteen. Sweet sixteen. Maybe the last time in a youngster’s life that world lies prostrate at his feet.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE UNITED NATIONS

In my callow youth. Long ago when I was a full fledged yankee living in Massachusetts, I used to drive through Dixie in March on my way to a couple of weeks fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Common sights along the byways in those days were billboards, large and looming, that bore slogans like IMPEACH EARL WARREN. Southerners didn’t like the Supreme Court much in those days either.

Another common advert bore the legend: GET THE UNITED STATES OUT OF THE U.N. AND THE U.N. OUT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Now as a callow youth no longer, I make no bones about the fact that I detest the U.N. as it is and where it is. I do realize that it is an important location for many nations, including our own, to practice the arcane arts of spying and subterfuge, necessary skills in international relations across this ever shrinking globe. It is also useful as a place where pompous diplomats can speak more or less freely with one another.

But the Big Apple is most definitely the wrong place to house the massive bureaucracy that makes our very own way up in D.C. look like a small town Sunday School administration.

So what’s the answer to our obvious dilemma? Simple. Move the United Nations….lock, stock, and bbl.

To North Dakota…the badlands, or, even better, to the swamps of southern Louisiana, deep in the Cajun, Bayou country where the natives take not kindly to strangers speaking in outlandish tongues and who don’t know the difference between a nutria and a gator, nor comprehend the fine art of noodling a fifty pound catfish from its muddy hidey hole. Isolate the U.N. delegations. Heck, some of them might have to sleep in tents for a decade or two. Pretty sure the local building codes will not allow any modern, glass-sided high rise building on the banks of a local brackish, backwater creek.

A Note From Riverside Red
re: Bibb County Schools

Riverside Red is a friend, a fellow firearms enthusiast, and one hell of a solid thinker. Here is a brief letter he wrote recently which really sets out the difference in Bibb County's schools 'Twixt THEN and NOW

I see that the Bibb County Board of Education has decided to conduct random searches at some of the public schools. Given the times we live in, I think this is a prudent idea. I will never forget when I was "caught" by a random locker search at A.R. Willingham High School for Boys in the mid 1960's. Not a gun, not any drugs, but alas it was a copy of the forbidden "Playboy Magazine" The late Charles Deaton promptly dealt out my punishment. 3 licks from a wooden paddle taught me a lesson that I still remember.

It would be nice if that was all the public school's had to be concerned about today.

DIVORCE,
INDIANA STYLE

I was lucky, my kids were fully (legal) adults when the Missus and I split.

And I cannot imagine the pure horror of having my children removed through a muddled and vindictive judicial process that aims to emasculate the male half of a dissolving union in favor of his partner.

That’s what happened in an unimaginable divorce settlement forced upon a man from Indiana by what appears to be a rogue judge who has denied him the right to see or visit or spend time with his two children. Rogue or not, it’s still legal and the law of the land.

COUNTERFEITERS HARD AT WORK IN EAST BIBB COUNTY

According to a friend who is also a thoroughly reliable source, The Wal Mart on Gray Highway was hit hard the other day by person or persons buying merchandise with phony fifty and one hundred dollar bills.

The hundreds were slipped past the clerk at the electronics cash register; the fifties sailed through register 15.

The bogus bills are of excellent quality, fine workmanship, the products of genuine skill. My friend was allowed to handle one of the 100’s. In electronics a purchase of some $440.00 dollars was rung up, the crook handed the clerk two twenties which she checked with her little marker….they were good, then he gave her four counterfeit 100’s and she never bothered to check them out.

Don’t know what happened at checkout number 15 other than bogus fifties were cashed successfully.

Haven’t heard anything on the news about this. Counterfeiting U.S. currency is a major FEDERAL Crime.

It is quite possible the crooks are not from around here but traveling rip-off artists who do this sort of thing over long distance.

BEWARE THE BOGUS BILL, especially if you have a job in retail.

I MIGHT BE A TERRORIST SINCE…….
Companion To "I Might Be A Racist, since....

1. I own (and carry, quite legally) a firearm, a pistol to be exact, for personal protection. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution says I have a ‘right to keep and bear arms’.

2. I belong to two pro gun organizations: The National Rifle Association and Georgia Carry Dot Org (which is like the NRA on steroids).

3. I have traveled extensively in the Middle East and visited several ‘Arab Countries’ whose aims and self determination have not always been in line with the agenda of whatever administration runs the White House.

4. I have attended several rallies and ‘tea parties’ during the past few months months. We opposed Obamacare, increased taxes, and profligate spending and waste in government.

5. I have spoken out against the policies and politics of the Obama Administration. That qualifies me as a ‘racist’, too, it seems these days.

6. I have a deep and abiding belief in self-reliance: I, not any centralized government, am largely responsible for me.

7. I support the men and women of the United States Military. Sadly, these good folk are often misused to carry out misguided political agenda.

8. I believe that the United States is the most unique nation ever to appear on the globe. The ‘American Experiment’ has its flaws, to be sure, and our government has often made mistakes. Still, in the aggregate, I would rather live here than any place on earth. Attempts to deny America’s ‘uniqueness’ border on the absurd

9. I adhere to the principles of THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE which states, in part, ”….. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it…..”. It is my belief that these statements refer not only to an oppressing foreign master (Great Britain) but to an alienated government residing in Washington, D.C. or in many of our state capitols.

10. I believe in a family’s right to see to the education of its children in a manner to be determined by them. Home Schooling is a good thing. The Central Government is far too involved in education.

11. I (finally) consider myself an independent voter and thinker, tied neither to political party nor ideology. The best description of who I am is perhaps summed up in the phrase from the 1700’s: DON’T TREAD ON ME”.

PS; This piece brought to mind a day when I was thirteen and in Luella Moon’s eighth grade English class. I had written a paper and used the first person personal pronoun liberally. She circled in red ink every “I” that began most of the sentences and added a note, “You know better, Don.”

Lou Moon was a brilliant teacher and a good friend. Yours truly was fortunate to have sat in her classroom for two years.

ELLIS UPDATE

Almost every day somebody asks me, ‘What’s Jack Ellis doing”?

Whether out of pure interest or fear?

I didn’t have a clue until today when I read in the on-line version of THE MACON T’GRAPH a summary of political goings on which included a brfief piece called, simply enough, “ELLIS WRITING A BOOK.” (http://www.macon.com/local/story/849214.html ).

Back in the day when the former mayor was holding down the corner office over at City Hall, there was some question as to whether he could read, let alone write. Numerous tales circulated behind the closed doors of Cotton Avenue and Poplar streets that Hizzoner always managed to pass the menu in the posh eateries he favored to a companion to have the carte du jour read to him.

Between thee and me I don’t see this as a possibility. Frequently I have companions read the menu if I leave my reading glasses at home. These old eyes don’t work as well as they once did.

The Ellis book will detail, if it ever comes out, the man’s early years growing up in Maconga, a terribly segregated Maconga, his long career in the Army, and, of course, his eight years as our fearless leader.

The T’GRAPH piece indicated we may have a long wait. We are not holding our breath.

ERRATUM
(That Means ‘Error’)
You. Too, Can Master Eighth Grade Grammar

A day or two ago I made an egregious grammatical/spelling error in a post to our neighborhood watch group.

I confused ‘there’ with ’their’, an error so basic, so elementary that during my teaching decades I must have red-penned it several thousand times.

Yet there it is for all the members to see, mea culpa. Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

Here is a little article from this morning’s LEW ROCKWELL DOT COM that brings together a few of the common errors in English made by those learning our native tongue from the disadvantage of another culture, or the poor kids trapped in our modern, government schools where learning is secondary to indoctrination. I Might Be A Racist Since…..

1. I oppose President Obama’s polices on health care, a missile shield over Poland and Middle Europe, his policy of appeasement on the international scene, his cap and trade legislation, the conduct of the war in Afghanistan, his surrounding himself with radically left-leaning advisors, the extravagant spending by the central government, and….the list goes on and on.

2. I decry Bibb County Commission Lonzie Edward’s Op Ed opinion that we have to be soft on all accused criminals. I make a distinction between the kid who shares a dime bag and the slime-bag who robs me in my own home by gunpoint.

3. I detestlaying the race card played by Professor Meeks once a month when she pens one of her dated, out-of-touch, knee-jerk columns in the THE MACON T’GRAPH. I admire the good lady’s intellect, but her jumping of the Jimmy Carter bandwagon this week gives ample proof that she is little more than a relic from an earlier era of confrontational Civil Rights.

There is something sad about the recent surge in charges of ‘racism’ leveled against all of us who oppose the current administration’s policies. It is not due to the fact that the President is a Black Man. The reason for our distrust is that he is the closest thing we have ever seen to a full-fledged Marxist sitting in the Oval Office.

BOULEVARD NEIGHBORS MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT

Our regular, monthly meeting will be held tomorrow at 6:00 PM at President Miki's house. In her absence, Joan Fluker will preside.

It will be a ver important meeting. We have experienced another robbery on Senate, the police have locked up a violent purse snatcher who plied his rvil trade on a 61-year-old woman in the Kroger yesterday, and Captain Brazxee is bringing in an expert on gangs and gang activities from the MPD Gang Task Force. The purse snatcher lists a residence on SUmmit Ave, not far from here.

Please make every effort to attend...bring friends and neighbors...bring your kids.....and, lest we forget, please bring some refreshments.

Remind Our Politicians We Have A Thing Called The First Amendment

Stop Us Before We Kill Free Speech Again



The Supreme Court has yet another chance to refer to the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. And follow it.

The case before the court, Citizens United versus FEC, has to do with how federal campaign finance laws and the regulations issued by the Federal Election Commission are violating freedom of speech.

Citizens United is a conservative non-profit organization that produced a documentary critical of Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign last year. A D.C. court ruled that producing it with the help of corporate funding was a violation campaign finance law, specifically the McCain-Feingold Act.

Eight former FEC commissioners have now filed an amicus brief in the case. They argue that the lower court's decision violates the First Amendment — you know, the part about not making any law to abridge freedom of speech. One of the former commissioners, Hans von Spakovsky, explains in the Wall Street Journal that it is virtually impossible to know under the convoluted regulations exactly when one is allowed to engage in political speech and when one must shut up. Why not just let everyone exercise his First Amendment rights?

Spakovsky concludes that friends of campaign finance restrictions on speech have “lost sight of a basic truth: The answer to speech they disagree with is not to restrict that speech, but to answer it with more speech.”

BACK FROM THE BRINK

My emasculated computer returned home yesterday.

Seems that what was wrong was something called a 'fried motherboard'. An easy fix....."have it for you in a day or two at the most."

The siren song of all technocrats who sense a sucker who does not know the difference between a floppy disk and a USB port.

The part ordered didn't fit the machine. A machine the same company had built from scratch about a year and a half ago.

FRIED MUTHAH-BOARD!!!

Won't bother you with details. It will most likely take me the rest of the day to wade through emails. Found well over a thousand of them....not including f'spam'. Have that total whittled down to less than two hundred.

When in doubt hit DELETE.

Yep....second time this year, the old (less than two years) PC died of something akin to fright a few moments ago.

Ran to a neighbor who graciously is letting me use her machine long enough to get this message across.

Three Persons Of Indian Heritage Slain
Who Dares Call Them ‘Hate Crimes’?

But I’m going to. The savage, senseless murders of three Indian-born men over the past several weeks has all the earmarks, on the surface at least, of being, in whole or in part, hate crimes.

The suspects arrested for the more recent killings are black. We do not yet know the identity of the murder that took place in Baldwin County earlier in the summer.

Three men, ironically sharing the same last name, related (I don’t know), all from India and all hard working and employed were wiped out one at a time, with a kind of cold, methodical precision.

Nobody in officialdom has yet said ‘hate crime’. But it is high time to investigate that as a possible motive in at least one of the slayings. And if the rancid odor of ‘hate crime’ be found, then the killers, at least one of whom is black and a teen ager, need to be tried under Georgia’s hate crime laws. That should help put somebody away for the rest of his life.

Personally, I think hate crime laws are an abomination invented by pandering politicians. Murder is murder whether committed by somebody who hates or loves you. To add race, gender, national origin, or sexuality into the occasion is simply stupid.

Possible Irish Traveller Scam In Macon


A local insurance company that is an Email Update Team member had a customer to report a claim on her homeowner’s policy recently. She said two white males in a white pickup truck knocked on her door one evening stating that they are opening up a new store in Macon selling tile and they wanted to show them a piece of the tile. She said they brought the big piece of tile into her living room and one guy was holding the tile from the front and was doing all the talking while they assumed that the other man was holding the tile from the back but instead he was in her bedroom stealing her jewelry. She did not realize what had happen until this morning when she went to get her rings out of her jewelry box. They also stole $40.00 out of her pocketbook.

This sounds like Irish Traveler activity. If so, this ruse will be attempted several times in our area. If you encounter these men or other groups attempting this scam, notify law enforcement immediately.

I have been informed by the Campus Police Department that unknown suspects appearing high school age have been going door to door soliciting donations for “band and football uniforms for Bibb County schools”. The Bibb County school system knows of no such fund raiser. The last sighting of these individuals was in the Corbin Avenue area. If you encounter them, notify law enforcement. Be prepared to give a suspect description, vehicle description if available (with tag if safely possible) and a direction of travel.

It’s beginning, just beginning to happen.

The ‘it’ started years ago, but began to gain momentum with a recent T’GRAPH editorial by Charles Richardson exposing how the savagery and thuggery found in Bibb County schools is keeping a majority of kids from earning an education. It continued with a piece by Betty Phillips, also in the TELEGRAPH stating the same theme. It continued with a not-so-cleverly-orchestrated cover up by Superintendent Patterson and the BOE of gunfire inside a classroom in the hands of a thirteen-year-old. About the same time we learn that Bibb County’s SAT scores are in the toilet. Right now morale among our teachers is at what seems to be an all-time low It has reached the point of realization in the larger community that our schools are among THE VERY WORST IN THE ENTIRE NATION.

Thugs rule the corridors of academe just as they rule some of our streets.It

Conclusion: “IT” is becoming a groundswell movement demanding we fire (or buy out) Miss Patterson immediately and, at the earliest possible opportunity, replace the current coward cadre who comprise the Board of Education with some folks with cojones sufficient to deal with the real problems that are destroying the county’s kids.

Early Release For Dangerous Criminals

Whether holy or unholy, the sudden alliance between Shock Jock Chris Krok and de facto civilian head of area neighborhood watches, Vic Jones, will prove to be a very powerful force in the current war against crime currently being waged in all sectors of our fair city.

This b’log spent a little time on the subject when we posted: IS THERE SOMETHING ROTTEN IN THE BIBB COUNTY JUSTICE SYSTEM on August 27th. (Scroll down to locate.) We barely scratched the surface of the problem that time.

Back in May several of the local judges and magistrates pulled together and raised, over some objection, bail on folks who were arrested. Why? In some neighborhoods, these bad guys, even those with long and significant criminal histories, were getting out of the slammer and were back on the streets plying their nefarious craft within hours. New, higher bail rates did slow down dramatically the revolving door at the LEC. Law abiding citizens who dwell in the combat zone off Riverside and elsewhere were able to breathe just a little easier.

Suddenly, a couple of short weeks ago, bond rates began declining to their old, favorable-to-criminals levels and a bru-ha-ha has broken out within the local judicial system that might just determine if this city can remain a viable place to live and raise a family or not.

The forces of Law and Order, including Jones and Krok, the MPD, several judges and the DA’s office want to keep the bad guys off the streets, keep them from robbing, killing, molesting, and invading our homes. On the other side we have Sheriff Jerry Modena, certain sob-sister magistrate judges, and every criminal defense attorney in town which includes Bibb County Commissioner Lonzie Edwards. This gaggle of well-intended(?) souls seems to side with the criminal element….don’t treat them too harshly, they are largely poor and black, you see; these poor men and women come from broken homes, were molested as children, have little or no useful education (of course not, they are most likely the product of a failing school system. They have to get back home and take care of their families (which they weren’t doing in the first place). This ilk wants to create ‘programs’ to help the criminal element get back into society in some meaningful way.

Sad to say the bad guys were never useful citizens to begin with. Career criminals are spawned on our streets, playgrounds, and in our schools at an ever younger age.

That’s the liberal mentality at its very worst…create out of whole cloth ill-conceived, new social programs which are doomed to failure from the beginning. The greatest social engineers of the century just past were Hitler, Stalin, and Mao tse. We don’t need jails, we have do-gooders who can reason with the likes of the bastard who shot young Patel three days ago.

Part of this cabal’s fear is that the Jail will fill up and we will have nowhere to put our inmates. Sorry, that doesn’t cut the mustard. There will be lots of space in the LEC once we get rid of about a hundred state prisoners we are holding for some damned reason. You can always throw an extra cot in a cell.

This morning, following the reading of a letter from Mr. Jones, Chris Krok went on a tear citing chapter and verse the name, address, and criminal record of several slime-balls released prematurely.

It was not only an exciting show, but it gave the listener an earful into the machinations of our local CJ system which, on the magistrate level, seems to bend over backwards to avoid hurting the tender feelings of some of the worst elements within our society.

Go Chris! go Vic!! You have a lot of people on your side who will no longer permit elected magistrates and politicians to make a mockery of our laws. A few of us live in neighborhoods where a man or woman can walk abroad during the evening hours in absolute safety. That should be a goal for the whole city (and county).

Slapping A Toddler In Walmart

A sixty-one-year-old man is being held in jail on charges of cruelty to a child in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

The fellow, it appears, slapped an unruly two-year-old girl after warning her mother that if she didn't take care of the problem, he would.

Boy did this guy get it wrong.

The best way to deal with a spoiled brat is to slap the stew out of the mother.

Macon's Pro Obama Health Care Rally
Falls Flat On Its Face

Local media has a tough time estimating crowd sizes. It’s an ongoing joke with our friend Liz Fabian. They never seem to get it right and rely on police estimates which also tend to miles off the mark.

But not yesterday.

Not at the pro-Obama health care rally that took place in front of City Hall yesterday.

Less than three dozen, thirty-four brave souls put their liberalism on the line and showed up.

The ‘crowd’ was almost outnumbered by local media reps.

When Chris Krok trotted out his ‘tea party 2’ rally last week, he attracted ten times (at least) the number of hapless souls who showed up yesterday to listen to Senator Robert Browne demonstrate his keen ability to obfuscate fact.

Well done.

President Obama To Address America's School Kids

To the best of my knowledge, it has never been tried in this country.

Hitler used the tactic and with it, in part, created the infamous HITLERJUGEND, or HITLER YOUTH when the Nazi government took over, body and soul, the very life and essence of a generation of young Germans.

It was madness. These children, from the age of seven on, were were under the complete control of the Nazi Party, which oversaw what they learned in school, how they spent their leisure time, and what they thought.

The aim? obedient soldiers for the Third Reich. Boys were destined to be soldiers, girls were required to bear soldiers for the government. Germany¡¦s youngsters were as controlled as were the youngsters of ancient Sparta.

So Obama will address the children of our Nation on September 8th, one week from today. He will address a captive audience, whose wardens (teachers) overwhelmingly support him. The prospects for abuse are indeed frightening. Can you spell INDOCTRINATION?

Do YOU Know Where YOUR Elected Officials Are?

(Here is an interesting observation cum factoid from Paul Jacob regarding the mysterious non-whereabouts of some key politicians during August recess)

Mysteriously Missing Politicians


I almost feel sorry for politicians so afraid of angry freedom-loving constituents that they couldn’t even hold a townhall meeting this summer to spout reassuring lies about the Democrats’ medical reform proposals.

I say, “almost feel sorry” . . . well, not quite “almost” — Okay, I don’t feel sorry for them at all.

Neither does blogger Leslie Eastman. Recently, Leslie and 300 other nefariously well-dressed California citizens visited the local offices of U.S. Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein. They merely wished for these office-holders — who until now have strenuously abstained from conducting public meetings to defend their plans for more government intervention in medical care — to emerge from their hidey-holes and defend their notions. Live and in person.

No luck.

In fact, an office supervisor admitted that Senator Boxer had not graced her San Diego office with her presence in over two years. Says Leslie, “I think there was a revolution [once] because of taxation without representation, but I digress.”

Maybe we can help Leslie find the missing politicians. Another blogger, Ed Morrisey over at hotair.com, is hot on the trail, being very helpful with a post entitled “Who Are Your Milk Carton Politicians?” During the August recess, many politicians across the nation headed for the hills, unwilling to squarely face constituents and defend their pro-government takeover of American medicine.

A LITTLE BOY IS COUNTING ON US

Mason Thibault is a little fellow with a serious, life-threatening problem. Mason lives in Pennsylvania, but has ties here in Macon. His Uncle is decorated Macon PD officer, Jon Wantz who recently received, you may remember, the OFFICER OF THE YEAR award from the North Macon Neighborhood group.

This little boy is very ill. He has undergone more medical treatment in his few months of life than most of us have in a lifetime. To quote Mr. Donilla, “However, Wantz also received some bad news: His nearly one-year-old nephew, who entered the world weighing two pounds and who lives in Pennsylvania is fighting for his life.”

Mason needs a transplant…and soon. We can help. We can make donations which will help pay for the expenses the family’s, insurance will not cover.
