Boy Scouts Pushing Back In Philly

In Philadelphia, once upon a time and long ago dubbed ‘The City of Brotherly Love’, the Boy Scouts are in deep doo-doo.

The local council has filed a lawsuit against the city fathers (and muthas) to prohibit them from charging what amounts to extortion to use a city-owned building the scouts have using for years. The scouts have been given until today to pay up or ship out.

The suit pits social and political activists against the Boy Scouts of America who cannot, by charter law, employ homosexual men to supervise young boys.

The media has largely ignored a battle taking place under the very nose of the Fourth Estate.

This clip has made the rounds of the internet.

Ingleside Gunworks Robbed
And The Bastards Got Nada

In the wee early hours of the morning early today our friends at Ingleside Gunworks suffered a burglary that netted the perps not a single firearm.

So a telephone call informed me.

The IGW's management has done an excellent job of protecting its precious inventory. Despite penetrating to the innards of the shop, within grabbing distance of the entire stock of valuable firearms the bad bozos left with nothing.

Took the MPD a very few minutes to respond to the alarm. Some damning evidence was found which should lead to quick apprehension of the two slimeballs involved. Crooks can be so very stupid.

Let's wrap this one up quickly and get jerks off the street for a long, long time.

give the O.K. to
Gay Marriage

I don't see what all the fuss is all about.

And fuss there is aplenty. The blogosphere and the talk guys are milking this issue for everything they can. It is clear this will be an issue in the upcoming elections.

One of two things will happen: Either the mess will die down in a few years as gay marriage becomes the law of the land; Or the radical muslims will gain enough political strength to impose Sharia Law on us all, at which time it will become quite legal to hang or stone to death gay and lesbian men and women.

R. K. Gunshow
Well Worth
Our Time

Spent most of the day at the R. K. Gunshow in the Coliseum this morning and afternoon, and spent a fair amount of time with Joe Smith who heads up the Georgia end of this massive gun and knife show enterprise.

Given the fact that they had little lead time to put this one together, they did a heck of a job. There was a great deal of balance among the exhibitors....not too much of any one thing or another. And bargains galore were to be found if you took the time to look for them.

We were lucky top get this show scheduled for Macon. Joe will have another here in exactly one year and we shall spread the word.

If you missed today, there is tomorrow. Please check it out Click MORE:

Quote Of The Day
05/01/2008

There is a teen-ager living not far from here who is going through the throes of extreme adolescent angst, temper, and not a little normal rebellion.

His father has him on house arrest through 2015 at last count.

As defiance grows, he does what many bright kids do, and romanticizes his lonely, one boy battle against the forces of tyranny, oppression, authority and adult supremecy.

He called me last night with the following quote describing his current sad and solitary state. I promised to print it here without revealing his name, "Because my father will kill me."

From The Boortz Blast
Eight Idiots

From time to time Neal Boortz unleashes his ‘Boortz Blast’, a subscription only newsletter containing gems nor always shared on his regular website or with his listeners.

Here is an example, taken from You Tube, called Eight Idiots

And you know what? Not one of them appears to be a politician, not yet anyway.

EFFECTIVE CHILD DISCIPLINE WITHOUT ANGER OR HITTING

Parents everwhere are constantly looking for new methods of dealing with misbehaving, rebellious offspring.

One reader sent in this sixty second video clip, made by a chap in Australia, who, I think has finally found the magic bullet that will cure in no time your child's antisocial behavior.

Thanks to reader GLEN who doesn't want his name or email address printed.

Watch the video.....make certain you wait fot the cute picture at the end.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzM-zUpc3-Y
